METU NCC Library – A Valuable Information Center for Students, Researchers and Society

The Library aims to support the educational and research programs of METU Northern Cyprus Campus, meet different information needs of students, faculty and staff, and ensure national and international level collaboration with institutions for resource sharing.

The Library, which has an interior space of 3,528 square meters, has a shelving capacity of 60,000 volumes and a seating capacity of 450 users. It provides space for group study as well as offering a silent study room and a 24-hour study room. Wireless and wired Internet access is available throughout the Library.

The Library houses a collection of 40,000 books, 52,552 electronic journals that are accessible through 168 online databases, 291,140 e-books and a DVD film collection.

An open-shelf classification system that facilitates access to information resources is in use at the Library.
